How to troubleshoot Funnel Stats Issues
Check 1: Be sure to use the Funnel URL
Using the incorrect URL can cause errors in the Stats section.
The Funnel URL (annotated below in Number 1) is the correct URL. Using the Funnel Step URL (seen below in 2) may cause issues recording the visitor to the site.
Check 2: If Your Homepage Set to Funnel Step
This can happen if the site's HomePage is set to a Funnel Step. In order to workaround this issue (if you find it necessary) you can do the following:
Step 1: Create a blank page at Website -> Add Page and be sure it's set to No Header/Footer in the Page Attributes section as seen here:
Step 2: Click on the blue "Launch DropFunnels" button and simply Publish the blank page.
Step 3: In the Header section of the WordPress settings (same page as above) you can place this code:
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url=https://yourdomain.com/funnel-slug/funnel-step">
Where the link is the actual link to your specific Funnel Step.
This practice will show a flash of a blank page upon visiting the site's main URL, but it will track the correct amount of visits into the Funnel Step Stats.
