How To Use Split Testing on Funnel Pages

Some important notes when running split testing on your funnels:

  • Traffic MUST be sent to the starting point URL of the funnel for it to distribute traffic properly
  • Clicking the Update experiment will update the distribution and the changes made.
  • Declaring a winner will delete the losing variant and make the winner the primary new design
  • Click on the Reset button located next to the split pages to reset the statistics.

How To Setup

Step 1: Go to Funnels > Funnels > Select a Funnel and click the Edit icon

Deleting Duplicate Split Test Page

To delete a split test page, simply declare the page you'd like to set as the winner. Once the winning page is selected, the other page(s) added to the split test will be automatically deleted.

This process ensures that only your preferred version remains active.

*New Feature* Understanding Split Page Metrics in DropFunnels

To evaluate the performance of your split page, we track the following metrics:

  • Visits: The total number of visitors to the page.
  • Leads: The total number of users who opted in on the funnel page.
  • Rate: The conversion rate, calculated as leads ÷ visits.
  • Checkout Purchases: The number of purchases made through the checkout module on the page.
  • Order Bump Purchases: The total number of order bumps purchased.
  • Total Revenue: The total revenue generated from the page.
  • Earnings per Visit: The average revenue earned per visitor, calculated as total revenue ÷ visits during a specific period.

Important Note

To fully utilize this new functionality, press the "Update Experiment" button. Doing so will reset the test, clearing all metrics to start fresh.
It is highly recommended to update the experiment, as some metrics may not have been accurate in the past.
