Price Increase Feature for Recurring Products (Stripe)
We’ve rolled out a new feature that lets you update pricing for recurring products linked to Stripe—and choose how it applies.
How It Works:
When you update the price of a recurring product, a popup will appear with two options:
- Apply the new price to new customers only
This works like the previous setup. The new price will apply only to future subscribers, and existing subscribers will remain on their current plan. - Apply the new price to all customers
Selecting this will update the price for both new and existing subscribers.
Stripe will automatically apply the new price to existing customers starting from their next billing cycle.
Example:
If a customer is currently on $99/month and you increase it to $100, Stripe will charge them $100 on their next renewal date.
