How To Drip Your Course Content
If you'd like to prevent your customers from jumping ahead in your Course content, you can drip the content by using this functionality. This ensures that people won't skip ahead to their lessons or modules of the course. You can set this day-by-day, week-by-week, or however you want.
There are two important points that you need to remember about drip content.
1. Drip Content is a module by a module basis
If you have 10 modules for example and you wanted the user to finish the 10 modules in 10 days time (one module per day), then it is best to drip your content
You cannot drip lesson 1 then drip lesson 2 that is within or part of a module.
So if Day 1 module has 5 lessons under it, those 5 lessons cannot be a drip as it is a part of the module Day 1.
If you have 10 modules (Day 1 to 10) and you want to drip the content for 10 days, then the following drip content setup should be followed;
Day 1 should be set at 0 day
Day 2 should be set at 1 day
Day 3 should be set at 2 days
Day 4 should be set at 3 days
Day 5 should be set at 4 days
and so on and so forth.
2. Everything is based on the time that the user signed up for the course. Once a user would sign up for the course, then the counter for the drip content starts.
Steps in Setting Up The Drip Content
1. Go to Courses > Courses
Go to Courses > Courses in your Dropfunnels dashboard.
2. Click on the Course Modules tab
If you have more than one-course setup, select the course to which you would like the drip content to be applied.
3. Click on the Cog icon
This action will expand the settings for the module.
4. Click on the Drip Content tab
5. Set your preferred drip for the module.
Again, if you have 10 modules (Day 1 to 10) and you want to drip the content for 10 days, then the following drip content setup should be followed;
Day 1 should be set at 0 day
Day 2 should be set at 1 day
Day 3 should be set at 2 days
Day 4 should be set at 3 days
Day 5 should be set at 4 days
and so on and so forth.
