Post Affiliate Pro – Affiliate Tracking Links

For users that are using Post Affiliate Pro ("PAP")  to track their affiliate sales and leads, please read here for a very important update on how to allow the software to track on your DropFunnels pages.

By default, on your PAP merchant panel, the affiliate tracking link will generate a URL Parameter like below:

https://yourcustomdomain.com/funnel-1/funnel-step-1#a_aid=youraffiliateid

Now, if that affiliate ID is generated with the "#" symbol, that will not work and tends to break your pages. This is because as per our current DropFunnels functionality, we are blocking any # parameters.

What you'll need to do is to reach out to PAP's support team and get them to change that parameter to have the "?" symbol as below:

https://yourcustomdomain.com/funnel-1/funnel-step-1?a_aid=youraffiliateid

After they changed it in your account, affiliate links will now be generated with the ? parameter instead of the # which will now allow you to track sales/leads correctly.
